People who follow Jesus authentically and energetically

• People who have experienced the unconditional love of Jesus and so are not cynical, critical, or sarcastic about other’s spiritual growth or decline
• People who have experienced such forgiveness that they readily forgive kids who act out, disrupt class, hurt their feelings ~ again and again and again and….

People who are emotionally sound

• People whose emotional cup is full enough that they can readily share in and absorb the inevitable crises
• People who are honest in admitting their mistakes and who move on to be better and different

People who genuinely like kids ~ even hard-to-like kids

• People who assume the care of all students all the time they are at school, wherever they are, whatever they are doing
• People who remember what it was like to grow up with someone who thought you could do anything

People who are team players

• People who want to optimize the whole school, not just their class or department
• People who don’t complain but who focus on becoming part of the solution

People who are responsible

• People who do routine things routinely, correctly, and promptly
• People who represent themselves, Christ, and the school in a positive light, all the time. 

People who are good instructors who like to teach

• People who love and know their subject matter
• People who remember what it was like “to not know” and who are eager to help others get it, whatever the personal cost
